In all industrial sectors, time to market is one of the most decisive factors of success,
which is where additive manufacturing comes in.
At vonRoll, additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, is realised using printed grains and shapes made from sand, as well as directly in metal printing.
Geometric properties are recorded, analysed and fed into the CAD software using laser scanners or computed tomography (CT). The data is then prepared, and if necessary optimised, in the CAD software before going into production.
